A Custom Relational Database For Under $1,000.00!  A Microsoft Access Project   Incisive conferred with the Medical Imaging Department Manager at Hudson Hospital and developed a custom relational database replacing 3" X 5" index cards used by the department since the 1950s.  And, we turned the order around in less that ten (10) calendar days!    Old System New System Users were required to physically go to the card files for information. Users access the database from their PCs from anywhere inide the department and throughout the hospital. Records were created by typing on file cards.  Free-form entry invited inconsistent data collection. Intuitive interface prompts users for required data elements and prevents keying duplicate records where indexes are unique. Cabinets were an eye-sore, consumed precious floor space, and were out of synch with the tone of the new facility. During the development of OMNI~View™ TMS, we worked closely with Gailfus Trailer Marketing in Rogers, MN to insure that our product met the requirements of the industry.  During our first meeting, we learned that Gailfus had already invested in a custom program for trailer marketing that was too hard to use.  He only used the program to print leases and continued to rely on spreadsheets, tub files, white boards, driver forms, manila folders etc to manage the other elements of his business.  Dick tells how OMNI~View™ TMS completely overcame his skepticism of "easy-to-use"  electronic solutions for trailer marketing.       Click here to read the whole report
